Watching water skiing, horses - and the mayor's office

Today we went to Vallensbæk to see some water skiers competing in the Danish championship.

We saw some skiers doing slalom, and also some tricks.

Close by there was another event going on - the Mounted Games world championship. Mounted Games is a sport where riders compete in more than 20 disciplines.

We also went by Kim's work - the city hall. Kim works with the mayor, and we saw the mayor's office.

Differences between Denmark and the U.S.

There are alot of differences but here are some of the big ones. School is 1 hour shorter. People bike everywhere. Its a colder climate. You cook your own food at home. In Denmark it's normal for kids my age to do stuff with out there parents, for example Carl and I biked about 3 miles alone to see a movie. And a common thing is friends come and ask you to play without calling first. Last one you get more money for delivering bottles. Carl and I got 6 dollars each for a couple of bags of bottles and cans.

Roskilde gettogether

Today we went to some of Rikke's and Kims friends in Roskilde. We played football and other things like that. Then we went to the harbor were we went fishing for crabs. We also got ice cream and saw Denmark's biggest ice cream, 25 scoops of what ever ice cream, soft ice (see picture for more) about $40.

BEACH AND SUMMERHOUSE

Today we went to some of Kim and Rikke's friends in a summerhouse in Rørvig. We ate brunch there.

BRØNDBY GAME

Today we biked to Brøndby game.

FINALLY POOL DAY

Today we went to the pool. It was the right day to do it because it was really sunny. We played soccer and ofcorse went swimming. We also played mini golf. It was also fun doing the other things like throwing a ball when in the water. Really fun day.

LAZY DAY

Today we just played computer games over at Jonas. We wanted to got to the pool but it was too late when the weather turened sunny. I played  WM3 which is a shooting game on the ps3. Carl and Jonas played Team Fortress 2 which I really want! It's also a shooting game and really fun. We also went on the trampoline.

GOLFING AND CLUB

Today we went golfing. First we went on the driving range were I got ice cream for everyone by hitting a bird. Then we went putting were I won the big ice cream by getting the ball closest to the pin. Then we went back to the club were you could do everything like football (soccer learn it) ps3 computer and more stuff you could do. MOVIE THEATER

Today we saw Despicable Me 2 in Danish. Its a good movie and its also funny. Then Rikke's parents came over for dinner. We planed to go to the pool but the weather didn't hold up.Then we had a water fight with Seier.

TRAINING DAY

Today Carl and I biked over to a football field. And yes soccer is called football here. First we had a 1 v 1 with the big heavy goals. But first we had to pull a goal really long and we got blizters from it. Then we played goal to goal were you shoot at goal but you cant use your hands to save the ball. At night we went down to Copenhagen harbour.

FCK STADIUM

Today I went to DENMARKs biggest stadium. We had a tour gide show us through the changing rooms and everything else. I had a lot of fun. Then we had Nicklas come over and jump on the trampoline.

BIRTHDAY AND BEACH

Today I went to Carls farmor and farfar for a brithday party. We also went to the beach. We slep over with Seier the night before and it was fun.

BRØNDBY DAY

Today was Brøndby day. We first started of by playing ten min... of  5 v 5 with 2 Brøndby players on a team. Then we had a huge game with 60 kids and 11 Brøndby players. I hade a lot of fun and want to do it again. I got a lot of atografs from the players. GO BRØNDBY!!

LAST DAY AT SOCCER SCHOOL

Today was the ending of soccer school. I had a lot of fun because we had that water soccer game were when the trainers scored the assistants would run through some cones while we shoot water at them with water guns. Soccer school was really fun!!!

Then we ate at this italian restaurant and the food was really good.

Today I had a lot of fun because Carl and I had a water fight. I cant wait til tomorrow  because we wil have a water soccer game.

BADESØEN

Today we went to Badesøen after soccer and the wheather was really chilly. Hope we can go to it on a warm day. Carl's cousin's, Albert and Gustav came over and ate dinner.

2ed DAY AT SOCCER SCHOOL

Today we played crab-football. I thought it was hard but fun. You had to bicycle kick and jump up on your hands and legs. Hope we can do it again.

FUN AT SOCCER SCHOOL

Today I went to fodboldskole. The trainers were fun and I had a really good time.                         
I hope to do this next year. Also cant wait for wedensday. POOL DAY
We got a goal and built it. Im haveing alot of fun.

Arrival at Præstehusene, Albertslund

August arrived in Denmark on Saturday afternoon, where aunt Maria, Helen and August's cousins ​​Frida and Martha picked him up at the airport. Sunday early afternoon they all came and dropped off August at Carl and his family's house in Albertslund. Everyone had been looking forward to seeing August!
The rest of the day August and Carl were out playing soccer, testing the bike, unpacking and moving in ;-)
Soccer Camp starts Monday morning.
